Bank Verification

The Bank Verification tool allows customers to verify that small- and medium-sized companies you are working with are providing correct bank details, to reduce fraud or other unlawful activities. The bank data is provided by the 10 major banks including Barclays, HSBC, and the Royal Bank of Scotland. When a customer provides us with a company number and their bank details, we perform an instant check to verify that they associate those bank details with that company.

Using the Bank Verification tool searching for a company

After selecting the Bank Verification tool, begin your search by typing in the company’s business name.

Verifying the data provided by the company

When you have selected the company you would like to verify, enter the Sort Code and Account Number, IBAN, or VAT number, or any combination of them, and if we have details on the bank accounts of that company, we will make a comparison and let you know if it matches any of the records we hold.

The outcomes are:

We have bank information about the company, and the data provided matches company’s records.
